This is a wonderful FREE opportunity to speak with representatives from a wide variety of health professions schools, right here on the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus.

PARKING: Two major construction projects are underway near the Michigan Union. Be prepared for road closures and detours. Please allow plenty of time to park. We recommend the Maynard Street Parking Structure, just two blocks from the Michigan Union.

TCMC Open House, March 28, 2015

The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) AMSA Chapter will be hosting its annual Pre-Medical Open House on Saturday, March 28, from 9:30-2:30pm. All pre-medical students, parents, and even faculty members or advisors are welcome to attend. This event will allow guests to:

• Tour TCMC’s state-of-the-art facilities
• Gain insight into the admissions process
• Learn about military health professions scholarships
• Hear about life in med school
• Participate in mock interviews (must pre-register with AMSATCMC@tcmc.edu)

Georgia Campus – PCOM upcoming events

The Georgia Campus – PCOM Open House is scheduled for Friday, November 14th. Details regarding the program and time can be found at admissions.pcom.edu. An online registration link is available to register. This is the perfect opportunity to meet students, faculty and staff from our Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree programs.

The Georgia Campus- PCOM will be represented at the APHA (American Public Health Association) Conference in New Orleans from November 15th – 19th . You are invited to join members of the Georgia Campus – PCOM community for a reception at Mulate’s Restaurant on Sunday, November 16th beginning at 6:00pm. The restaurant is located at 201 Julia Street, New Orleans, LA. Again, the registration link can be found at admissions.pcom.edu.

The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program Networking and Career Fair Exhibit

The Summer Medical and Dental Education Program invites you to participate in a networking and career fair exhibit on Friday, December 5 from 4:00-5:30pm at the AAMC Headquarter Building, Washington, DC. This event will feature an exhibit showcase of the 12 participating medical and dental schools in SMDEP as well as representatives from local health profession organizations. Career Fair participants will also have the opportunity to part in mock interviews, ask questions about the admissions process, and learn about the resources available to help them achieve their career goals.
